Lovely , relaxing surroundings. Big and comfy beds

Size of room and access to spa. Very friendly reception staff. Good selection on breakfast.

Wanted to have dinner outside in the garden ( warm enough for us ) but it was only served inside. Only drinks outside . Service at brasserie during lunch and dinner was very slow- had to ask for everything and They really made us wait. Maybe understaffed Also brasserie enviorment is not so nice . Would love if breakfast could be served upstairs instead with view over the garden. Also missing some sort of fun inside to do- like a pool table or simular for guests to do during rainy days or winter time.

“My tip: If you want to eat in nice enviorment make sure to Book a table at the Michelin restaurant. Really adds something to the stay. Outside sauna is worth a visit. ”

    Beautiful rural location

Easy walk to train station excellent biking through National Park ( forest and dunes ocean). We combined train and bike for some fabulous tulip viewing, canals, villages.

Local train station takes only coins or Maestro - no Visa or Mastercard.

    A wonderful couple of days

Fantastic location; who knew you could go on a beach holiday so close to Amsterdam?! We really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Our room was stunning and the service was fantastic. The surrounding countryside and beach were absolutely amazing. Really, really happy to stay and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended!

Impersonal hotel at a good location

Duin en Kruidberg has a very good location for those who want to cycle and walk and it also close to Haarlem, a nice historic town with museums, culture, good shopping and good restaurants

The hotel is very large, and unpersonal. It is essentially - except its location - nothing special; a standard luxury hotel at international standards. For that reason, you may prefer another, more authentic hotel for your weekend getaway. Also, Duin en Kruidberg has almost no rooms with a double bed - all rooms are twins - and we found that a real disadvantage. At checkout, the clerk charged us two breakfasts at 20 euro each, though we did not have any, So beware.

Beautiful mansion - grounds were very peaceful. Room was very luxurious. Service was phenomenal - dinner was expensive but very good. Good signs to find the place but at nighttime would be very difficult.

Room was very small for a 5 star hotel, we had no where to lay out our suitcases.

Hotes staffs were very friendly for our children. Garden walking in the morning was very impressive.

lovely hotel and very good service and atmosphere.

For a hotel of this type they should have an indoor swimming pool definitely. They should also consider having a tennis court. The breakfast buffet could be improved with more salad options for those of us who do not like to eat too much bread. The airconditioning did not work in the room and we had to open the windows. The television should have more English channels. They provided some papers and magazines but it would be good if they had more English ones.

Atmosphere, service, food, ambiance, grounds, bedrooms, toiletries were totally superb! A fantastic place for our honeymoon!

Bikes for hire were not very good quality - we would have preferred these to be more than just basic.
