Hotel
Hotel de Stern is a cosy, small-scale hotel in an excellent location near the beach of Scheveningen. It's just a few hundred metres walk from the hotel to the beach, and other attractions such as the Circustheater and Holland Casino are also easy to reach on foot. Personal service is of paramount importance and guests are sure to notice this.
The hotel has eight comfortable rooms. The rooms come with a shower, a toilet, a telephone, wireless Internet, a radio and a television. De Stern has rooms on the ground floor for less able guests or guests with difficulties walking. Please indicate when booking if you wish to stay in one of these rooms.
Surroundings
Hotel de Stern lies on the popular Gevers Deynootweg, which runs parallel to the promenade and the beach. Here you'll find Holland Casino, a good variety of restaurants and the entrance to the Circustheater and Paviljoen de Witte. It's easy to walk to Scheveningen beach from the hotel, and if you fancy a day trip to The Hague, just hop on a tram in front of the hotel. Within 15 minutes you'll find yourself walking along the Binnenhof or past Noordeinde Palace.
Food and Drink
Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast on the weekend from 08:30 until 10:00, and on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00. Weekday breakfasts commence an hour later during the months of July and August: i.e. from 08:00. The elaborate breakfast will be served in your room and it is possible to take breakfast on the lovely outdoor terrace during nice weather. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but there are various eating and drinking establishments in the vicinity of De Stern.
