There are plenty of walking trails in Sevenum and its surroundings, providing over 100 km of walking pleasure. This rural region is renowned for its green pastures and grazing cattle, and the splendid Broekbossen woods. Experience the intimacy and uniqueness of Limburg's villages and cities and venture out into the surroundings. Each has its own culture and history, making each place well worth discovering. Venlo has a pleasant city centre with nice shops and charming restaurants and bars. The Limburgs Museum and Museum van Bommel van Dam are also great to visit. Maastricht is another beautiful pearl in Limburg, a monumental city boasting a wide range of shops and lovely squares (such as the Vrijthof and Onze Lieve Vrouwe Plein). Other tips in the area include the Castle Gardens in Arcen, the thermal baths, and the Toverland theme park.
