Hotel De La Frontière is a cosy and enjoyable hotel-restaurant in Slenaken. The beautiful Slenaken is called the pearl of South Limburg's hilly lands. The friendly locals and the surrounding countryside make the village a popular destination for a weekend away or a short holiday. In the wonderful surroundings, guests can make wonderful walks and cycling trips and afterwards alight on the terrace.
Hotel De la Frontière is situated in the centre of the village. Personal attention and culinary enjoyment is of paramount importance in Hotel De La Frontière. The hotel has six rooms, each with an individuela style and color. The rooms have a television and a bathroom with a toilet and a bath and/or shower. The pleasant terrace overlooks the village. In summer, lunch and dinner can be served on the terrace in the garden.

The beautiful surroundings and the hospitality of the people make Slenaken a popular holiday destination. It is near the border with Belgium and is surrounded by several woods. Along the village runs the river Gulp, which flows into the Geul a bit further up north. It is a fantastic hiking area. Hotel De la Frontière is half an hour's drive from the exuberant city Maastricht. This city is full of beautiful squares and magnificent monumental buildings. It is also a wonderful city for shopping.

Breakfast is served from 09:00 to 11:00 h. Your hostess from South Limburg and host from South Africa offer a challenging menu. They work with fresh local and international products. Try the South African 'tasting platter' or enjoy the culinary à la carte dishes combined with the finest Cape wines. The tastefully decorated restaurant is open from 12:00 to 21:00 h.

Charming host & hostess, made you feel extremely welcome and nothi9ng was oo much trouble. South African influence in the decoration and food was unique - made a nice change. The food was absolutely superb and the setting with terraces in sun / shade, was perfect. Great location to do lots of walking and touring. I really hope they get a lot of visitors as they deserve to do well.
Absolutely none. We will be back.
