Vakantieboerderij Broeresloot enjoys a unique location on the edge of Sneek. The old, restored farm is tastefully furnished with modern facilities. You can choose between 2 different room types with centuries-old features: a studio or a 1-bedroom apartment. The holiday farm has its very own marina, making this location easy to explore by boat. What's more, you can enjoy the Frisian lakes even if you don't happen to own a luxury yacht. Sloops are available to hire at the hotel and you'll find numerous boat and yacht hire companies in the vicinity. A café with a bar and a waterfront terrace is situated next to the farm, where you can order drinks and light snacks.
Surroundings
The holiday farm is situated on the edge of Sneek in watery surroundings. The Sneekermeer lake and the Brekken are easy to reach by boat. The farm also lies on the Eleven Cities cycling route, allowing you to explore beautiful Friesland by bike. The hotel furthermore offers bike hire. Plus its location near the A7 motorway means that the nearby towns of Joure and Heerenveen are also within easy reach.
Food and Drink
On request the hotel serves a delicious breakfast from 08:00 until 10:00, and on Sundays from 09:00 until 11:00. The farm comes with a harbour café with an outdoor terrace, where guests are able to savour delicious refreshments. Meals are not served at the café, but there are various excellent restaurants to be found in the centre of Sneek.
