Van der Valk Hotel Sneek is centrally located along the A7 motorway and is easily accessible by car. The hotel has an atmospheric bar/brasserie where you can enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. The hotel furthermore has an à la carte restaurant overlooking the water, which offers you a lovely view during lunch or dinner.
The spacious and luxurious rooms are tastefully furnished with a desk and a comfortable seat. The rooms furthermore come with air conditioning, a flatscreen television and WiFi. Excellent beds will guarantee a good night's sleep. The rooms offer a lovely blend of timeless elegance and contemporary comfort. All rooms come with a bathroom with a bath, a separate shower and a toilet.
Surroundings
Sneek is known as the sailing capital of Friesland. This small city's icon is its beautiful Watergate. Sneek is one of the eleven Frisian cities on the route of the 'Elfstedentocht', the famous Dutch ice skating event through eleven different cities. Sneek is a vibrant little city where many annual events are held. The most famous of which is the sailing event Sneek Week, but there are also many cultural events such as 'Lekker Sneek', 'Swinging Sneek', and numerous fairs and markets.
Food and Drink
Breakfast is served on Monday to Friday from 06:30 until 10:30, and at weekends from 07:00 until 11:00. The bar/bistro is open from 11:00, for a cup of coffee and a slice of regional Frisian cake 'Oranjekoek' as well as dishes from the specials menu. The hotel offers Late Night dishes for guests arriving later at the hotel. The brasserie's kitchen is open until 23:00. The attractive à la carte restaurant seats up to 300 persons. The restaurant is tastefully furnished and has high windows offering a view of the water. You can select one of the many dishes from the à la carte menu, from traditional Valk Classics to international dishes: available daily between 11:30 and 23:00. All dishes are prepared using ingredients that are fresh each day.

Children/extra beds: In the Comfort Rooms, a maximum of 1 extra bed can be added. On request, a cot for children aged 3 or under can be added at a surcharge of €15 per night. An extra bed for children aged 12 or under can also be added to your room, on request and at a surcharge of €35 per night. An extra bed for older children or adults can be added for €45 per night. These prices do not include breakfast.

Large and comfortable rooms, very well appointed. Lobby and bar are cozy with the chimneys giving an extra warm feeling. The restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices.

Great beds, nice bath. Clean.
Rather hard acoustics in the bar, making it more difficult to speak with a partner when many people talk and music is playing.

The Valk Hotel Chain in wonderful , at Sneek the hotel is new , Staff excellent and menu marvelous . We will continue to search out all the valk location thank you for a wonderful stay The standard rooms are large are clean . Everything so tasteful thank you
