City Hotel Terneuzen is an excellent starting point for excursions in the area, such as a visit to the charming fortified towns of Hulst and Sluis. The island of Walcheren, where the beautiful cities of Vlissingen and Middelburg lie, is easily accessible through the 'Westerscheldetunnel'. The Flemish cities of Antwerp, Ghent and Bruges can also be reached easily.
All hotel rooms have a bathroom with shower and toilet, a desk, television and a balcony. The hotel has a bar, an attractive à la carte restaurant and cosy terrace. The hotel is easily accessible and has ample free parking. At the reception you can rent a bicycle.
Surroundings
Lovers of culture can visit the beautiful cities of Antwerp, Bruges or Middelburg. For sports enthusiasts there is more than enough to do as well. You can walk or cycle along the coast and in the area you will also find two 18-hole golf courses, tennis courts, a sub-tropical swimming pool and an indoor skiing centre.
Food and Drink
The breakfast buffet is served on weekdays from 06:30 to 10:00 h. and on Saturday and Sunday from 07:00 to 10:30 h. The hotel has an à la carte restaurant 'Bistro de la Ville'. You can choose from the diverse menu or opt for the daily changing 3-course menu. In the hotel bar you can enjoy a snack or drink everyday between 14:00 and midnight.
Currently the restaurant is closed on Fridays after 10:00 AM and on Saturday & Sunday after 10:30 AM.

Children/extra beds: A maximum of 2 children can stay in the parents' room on request. Children aged 0 - 3 years old can stay free of charge providing no cot is required. A cot costs €17.50 per stay. An extra bed for children aged 4 - 11 years old costs €24.50 per night, breakfast included. Children aged 12 and above or adults are charged €32.50 per night for an extra bed, breakfast included.
It is not possible to add an extra bed in the Standard Room. A Studio is available on request at a surcharge.

THE price is fine. THE staff was really helpfull and Nice.
THE room we we're in was not clean at all. We found some hair in THE Sink and There was no soap available. THE Floor was not clean.
On THE balcony was à lot of sigarettes all over THE place.

Freindly staff, value for money
Room was badly laid out with a lamp almost on the pillow and very rude and abusive Germans who woke us up well after midnight.

Cheapest hotel we stayed in during our visit to Europe, but one of the nicest. The breakfast was plentiful, with lots of variety, pleasing even to someone who does not eat meat. The staff was very helpful and courteous.
