Surroundings
Tilburg used to be a wealthy textile city, which had many large factories like the wool fabric factory. This 19th century monument now houses the 'Nederlands Textielmuseum' (Dutch textile museum). Visitors can learn all about the making of textile, its history, and current techniques. The museum also lets artists create textile products and display them to the public. Really quiet and pleasant stay, good breakfast.
Placed in the forest in the middle of nowhere.

Beautiful location set on the outskirts of a forest. The breakfast was really good, much better than average.
The free internet didn't work...this was really annoying as we needed it to plan our trip home.
The room had a smell of airfreshener, not strong but still...I like my hotel rooms to smell neutral.
The room was to small for the extra bed that we needed.

The hotel was in perfect location for us as we were visiting our son at the University. The hotel was located very close to the University. The hotel rooms were very comfortable and clean and it was in a very peaceful surrounding area.

The front desk service was EXELLENT. Helpng us to find our way around Branbant with maps and advice.
The rugs in the rooms could be newer. I'd like to see more bright olors - less brown. But that is a matter of taste.

Excellent location if you need to go to Tilburg University. Closest railway station is Tilburg West (15-20 min walk). Nice location since on the outer limit of a smaller forest, so you can jog or walk. Quiet rooms, nice renovated bathroom
Probably too far to city for most people (30 minutes walk), hotellies relatively close to a semi-motorway, so on the terrace there's a lot of noise from the road (you don't hear this inside)

Very pleasant welcome by reception. Very nice restaurant with good ambiance and quality food and friendly service. Convenient location and comfortable, well appointed and clean rooms.
Restaurant serves \" nouvelle cuisine\" style; therefore overpriced. Breakfast very average (poor coffee from a machine, cold eggs, cold bacon). Improvement here is necessary.
