the restuarant is excellent,good service good food reasonably priced..no problems here. breakfast is excellent too.you couldnt fault the restuarant.. location is good,right on the motorway..

bad pillows in the rooms..to small.quilt is to narrow as well. could do with some way to make a simple cup of tea or coffee. a cheap toothbrush and comb would be handy when your on an overnighter. receptionist on check in/out could do with lesson in customer service..not good enough.

Perfectly located, quality hotel

After 22 years of using this particular hotel, I am qualified to say that the service and quality in all areas is high and pleasantly consistant. The location is very convenient the commercial amienities are robust and of a high standard as are the fitness facilities.

The renovated bathrooms are spoiled by the ridiculous and inadequate design of the wash-hand basins and these up-rates have excluded the hand-tissue dispencer. Worldwide, most reputable hotels supply two small bottles of water and a simple facility for making a hot beverage in the room - this was available in the past but is no more.

1.Very comfortable bed - only pillow should be better (was too soft). 2. Breakefast from 7am till 11am - very good. 3. Free wi-fi.

Spacious, convenient, friendly, good value for money

Quiet spacious rooms with a large window, good beds, spacious bathroom with bath tub and separated shower. The breakfast is above expectations. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The location is very convenient for any business to be done in a circle of 10 miles.

The views from the room are not particularly attractive. The place is popular with the local people for having their parties. We stayed Saturday-Sunday, and there was a party that night. Although we did not hear any party noise in the room (but you do in the lobby), the party goers were very noisy in the corridors when they went to bed in the middle of the night. Even though the hotel staff tried very hard to tune them down a bit.

I had requested a room not on the ground floor, but that\'s what I received. Did not realise this until we got to the room and by then we thought it was too late to change rooms. No coffee maker or kettle!

The only minu point of the hotel is the expensive and unreliable Wifi system for laptop users.

Ik kom regelmatig in Azië, en in alle hotels - ook de goedkope, die qua niveau beneden Van der Valk staan - is gratis wireless internet. Is dit typisch Nederlands? * dat je bij uitloggen na een sessie van bv. 30 minuten je hele uur kwijt bent, en dus weer opnieuw 6 euro moet neertellen. Een klacht hierover werd weliswaar gehonoreerd met een extra uur, maar dit kruidenierssysteem vind ik irritant.

De wasbak in de badkamer was verstopt en de beschermende laag tussen de matras en het laken vond ik onaangenaam. Dit laatste gaf het gevoel dat je op een plastic laag lag.

Genoeg parkeerplaats, vriendelijke bediening,kamer schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien.

Gedurende de maaltijd ging tussen de verschillende \"dishes\" nogal wat tijd verloren. Wanneer je slecht ter been bent, valt het niet mee om de trap naar de ingang te beklimmen.
