Stayed in the bridal suite in the Romeinse Vleugel. Plus points include nice jacuzzi bath with a window in the bathroom, nice bed, view of the Dom, high ceiling and stylish decor with blend of antique & modern. The pool area is open until 11 pm, which is very nice.
Speakers in the bathroom where the jacuzzi is and other areas of the room seem pretty crucial to set the mood in a bridal suite, but the sound only came from the TV and therefore was quite lacking. The playlists for the music could be much improved upon. Disappointed that breakfast isn't included. In the bridal suite there should be complimentary champagne or wine and water or chocolate at the very least. A balcony for this room would have been lovely considering the view of the Dom.
“My tip: Eat at the Grand Restaurant if you can! I didn't go there this time because it was closed for summer holidays but was there twice before and had the full menu with wine pairings -- simply divine experience both times!”

Very accommodating staff. Clean, quiet and well appointed room. The hotel is in an excellent location.

Exceptionally convenient location, only yards from the city centre.

Rooms in new part large, well decorated and comfy.
Very clinical, used to be a hospital and still the feel of a hospital on the corridors and outside facade.
Couldn't eat in the hotel as brasserie fully booked.
Swimming pool only a jet pool but in all fairness so much else to do no time to use it.

A stunning setting - centrally positioned - EXCELLENT food!
The room was a little shabby - with a few loose fixtures and fittings, such as the grab rail in the bath and the shower leaked!

Very nice hotel in the centre of Utrecht. Well located with near perfect breakfast and dinner. Clean with nice wellness/jetpool facilities.
No double bed even after having asked for it and in the morning only lukewarm water for shower.

The staff was exceptionally kind and helpful.
The grounds were lovely.
It was a treat to stay in Utrecht and easy to take the train into Amsterdam and the surrounding cities.
I had to ask for the room to be cleaned more thoroughly.
The room was adequate but not at all luxurious - they may have better rooms.
There was no clock unless you kept the television on and I needed more lighting-it was dark.
The food I ordered from room service was mediocre.

Quality of the room and services versus price of accomodation. Excellent restaurant and very good location.
The heating system is very poor explained in the room. They could offer a better service in this area.

Service in the hotel and the team spirit of the personel was so nice to witness. The way they took care of us and especially the little boy was wonderfull. The access to the hart of the city of Utrecht is in a perfect location. Oh the food is marvelous. Definatly coming back for another visit

The hotel is beautiful. THe service is good - a concierge takes you to your room. We felt very pampered.
Breakfast is not included and is an expensive extra.

Excellent location and room, staff very helpful. Jug of milk brought over to remedy lack of milk. Breakfast very good, menu for restaurant not to our liking as fish/vegetarian and rather expensive. That said Utrecht offered many other alternatives which we found to our liking, especially the De Beveling restaurant A beautiful city with splendid walks, bars, canals and oh so friendly
No milk for tea, only two standard non fruit teabags amongst the vast array in the box. View of building work in progress directly outside was disappointing but don\'t let this put you off

Excellent hotel, lovely bedroom, first class restaurant, very good wine list. Conveniently located near heart of old town, but only 5 minutes from rail station.
Looks like a former barracks, but do not let that put you off.
