    confidently recommended hotel in Utrecht

The Court Hotel is a well-managed establishment with clean and modern rooms. It is handily located just to the south of the Dom Tower in the heart of the city. The staff were strikingly friendly and helpful, especially at reception. Checking in and out were quick.

    None.

“My tip: The Kafe Belgie nearby on Oudegracht was a great choice for a first-night dinner - especially for fans of Belgian beer. There is no shortage of great shopping in the Old Town - especially clothes, shoes, homewares, eating and antiques. Tours of the Dom Tower (highly recommended) can be booked inside the tourist office, on the Domplein right near the hotel.”

Nice hotel close to the city center, a little pricey but good quality.

Location is very good for access to city center area. They have bikes for rent as well which is convenient. Hotel has two eating options which is convenient as well. Room is pleasant with everything clean. People were really nice there and very helpful.

Bed is two twins pushed together so there is a bump in the middle. I didn't like this. Place seemed a little pricey compared to other places we stayed in Utrecht for the quality.

Business travel: modern rooms in center of historic district

Convenient to historic sites, old walking district, boutiques and cafes. Great restaurant in lobby. Clean and modern looking room and bath.

Very noisy at night due to students and to the bar downstairs. Room quite uncomfortable to use: little closet space, no hooks in bath room, shower floor does not slope toward drain. No place nearby for breakfast if one does not want a hotel breakfast.

A big surprise in a small package!!

I would say that the hotel is "hip", which does not appear on your list. The staff were great and very helpful to a visitor. The size of the room suprised me, they were bigger than expected. And they were very quiet and I did not hear the bustling restaurant scene.

The wireless internet had spotty service. It worked better with my newer iPad than it did with my older (3 yrs) laptop.

The Court Hotel - a great place to stay in Utrecht

We enjoyed our stay very much.

We were surprised at check out that the breakfast was charged whether we ate it or not. Adjustments were made, however, we would have preferred knowing in advance.

Excellent hotel with very fine sercice in a prime location.

Really excellent service. The Wifi didn't work well, and in a split second a cable was brought for broadband.

The furniture is very scanty. Our double room had only a single desk chair. On the other hand, they did quickly bring another chair (also a desk chair, though)

    Lovely spacious bright room.

Lovely large room with high ceilings and lots of light. Great location in quiet street but in middle of old town centre.

Would have been good to have a bath and a bathroom without a window to see inside it! Breakfast quite expensive also. Wi-fi signal not good in room, and apparently not in most rooms but given connection lead for laptop.

Great location and rooms in Utrecht

We had a well appointed room with a nice bed and modern bathroom. The hotel is located a very short walk to the canals near the centre of Utrecht. Walking with luggage from the train station was easy.

New promising hotel, but they have still to learn a lot.

The hotel has an excellent location to explore and enjoy Utrecht. The restaurant and bistro are really popular. We had a drinks and snacks in the bistro and that was good. We could get a taxi for 55 euro from the hotel to Schiphol, which is a bargain if you consider the Dutch taxi rates. Normally you have to pay double for that trip.

It looks like staff and management have still to learn a lot about how to manage a hotel: the daily cleaning was done only for the half (e.g. service items from the restaurant were not picked up, shampoo and soap for the bath room, and mini bar items were not renewed, you could use the elevator only if it was not claimed by the hotel staff etc. The breakfast that the hotel offered was poor and without any ambition, but fortunately there were a lot of places around the hotel for having breakfast. Wireless internet is maybe possible if you can catch the signal from the router of the neighbors. They gave us a cable and that worked well. Our impression is that the Court knows very well how to run a restaurant and bistro, but has still to learn a lot about running a hotel business. Maybe they will learn that and than they can grow to one of the best hotels of the city.

Cosy place in the heart of Utrecht

Hotel is very well situated in the heart of old town. Has a fancy restaurant - very busy, free internet connection. Friendly staff.

The rooms could be maintained in a better way (loose handles on the door as well as cupboards).

The place to have a nice stay!

The breakfast is great, lots of choices!!! The place is well decorated.

We booked a room with bath and had a room with a shower (we didn\'t mention it because the shower was great!).

    Modern and central

Friendly staff, large rooms, comfortable beds, great wet-room showers.

Rooms on the street-side of the building were noisy - smokers and drinkers outside at night, and early-morning rubbish collection lorries. Windows need better sound insulation.

new and stylish but somewhat overpriced hotel in a central location

    - central (and theoretically rather quiet, but see below) location; perfect to explore the city - stylish modern, clean and well equipped rooms

    - given that this is a new hotel I would expect in this price range that doors and windows are more soundproof; note that there is a restaurant bar on the ground floor which adds to the noise level in the evenings -
