Hotel de Ruyter in port city Vlissingen is a small B & B hotel with a cozy atmosphere. An evening at the movies, shopping and a day at the beach, it's all possible during your stay. You can also stroll along the boulevard, while the impressive ships pass you by. The Zeeland towns Veere, Domburg and Middelburg are fun for a day trip. By car you can also make a trip to the Belgian cities of Bruges and Ghent.

Surroundings
The boulevard by Hotel De Ruyter is a perfect spot to enjoy the passing ships. It's also worth taking a walk to the Nolledijk, where you'll find the sculpture Het Windorgel (The Wind Organ) through which the wind hums and whistles. The 65-metre-high tower of Het Arsenaal is a true eye-catcher. In this pirate park and sea aquarium visitors can stroke sharks and rays or climb the tower, which offers amazing views of the Westerschelde.

The extensive breakfast buffet includes freshly squeezed orange juice and croissants, De Ruyter bread and delicious, sweet Zeeland buns.You can sit in the breakfast room or conservatory. On sunny days it is also possible you can also eat on the rooftop. The hotel has no bar or restaurant, but in the centre are several restaurants you can dine at. At the reception they will gladly inform you about the possibilities.

Le petit déjeuner est d une grande variété et un service impeccable. Excellent accueil et en plus il parle français. Pour moi ce fut un séjour extrêmement agréable.
