Hotel
Hotel Zilt is situated in a renovated listed building in the centre of Vlissingen. The hotel exudes an ambience of days gone by, yet offers all the modern facilities one may expect. An extensive breakfast buffet is served in the atmospheric basement and guests can enjoy a drink in the bar in the evenings.
All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a shower and a toilet, a safe, a mini-bar, a telephone, a flatscreen television, a hair dryer, air conditioning and a desk. The Deluxe Rooms are larger than the Comfort Rooms and each room has its own individual feel. Several Design Rooms come with a sitting area in the building's original bay windows, others feature a terrace or French windows with a Juliet balcony offering a view of the city. The Romantic Room is decorated with elements of red and white and comes with a bath and a separate shower. The Family Rooms are at least 30 m2 in size and feature a separate space with a double bed. The beams in the building ensure the rooms embody character and style.
Surroundings
Hotel Zilt lies within a 400-metre walk of Vlissingen beach and promenade, where there's plenty to see and do for all ages! You can visit the Arsenaal, where you can admire sharks and rays. It's even possible to stroke the rays! The Neeltje Jans theme park is also an immense and informative adventure for children. Furthermore, Vlissingen's surroundings are certainly worth exploring. There are many lovely cycling routes that will lead you through the beautiful landscape and past the famous Delta Works. The nearby provincial capital of Middelburg, a city steeped in history, is also a charming place to visit.

Lovely location, very helpful staff
no insolation only managed to sleep 4 hours because i could constantly hear my upstairs neighbours till about 1am walking around, on the very noisey floorboards.

Everything about this place was great. Superb location next to the harbour, right in the middle of town and within walking distance of many restaurants and the coastal boulevard. The staff were AMAZING - easily the friendliest hotelliers I have ever met, all fluent in English and happy to help in whatever way they could. The restaurant in the cellar was really cute. You could tell that a lot of money had been spent on the place and it looked fantastic. I will definitely return for a longer stay my friend and I were sad that we'd only planned to spend one night there. It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in.
I'm really struggling to find anything bad to say. The ONE minor thing there is no parking right next to or outside the hotel - you can park on the side of the road for a few minutes to unload your bags etc but of course it's an old town so the roads are quite narrow. However parking is provided by the hotel just one block away so this is not really an issue at all.

New hotel. Owners young and friendly. Room great. Hygiene excellent. Local on street parking reasonably priced.
Breakfast not bad but bread buns hard and not much choice of cereal. Price, a little on the high side.
