The welcoming Hotel Piccard is just 100 metres from Vlissingen's beautiful boulevard, where you can watch sea-going vessels sailing by. It is only a 2-minute walk from the hotel to the sea, the beach, and the dunes. The indoor shopping centre is also within walking distance.
The hotel rooms come with an en suite bathroom with a bath and/or shower and a toilet, air conditioning, a television, a safe, and tea and coffee facilities. Family Rooms suitable for 2 adults and 2 children up to 16 years old are also available. These rooms come with double beds that are 1.40 metres wide. The hotel has a lift, however, not all rooms are accessible by lift. You can enjoy a delicious dinner in the atmospheric restaurant. The spacious and attractive hotel bar offers a view of the swimming pool. Use of the heated indoor swimming pool, sauna, and solarium are free of charge. The lounge has a reading table and a television area. A play area is available for children.
Surroundings
One of Vlissingen's major attractions is the pirate park and sea aquarium Het Arsenaal, where you can stroke sharks and rays, or climb the 65-metre high tower to enjoy a magnificent view over the busy Westerschelde waterway. The charming city of Middelburg with over a thousand monuments is also worth visiting, and is easy to reach from Hotel Piccard Vlissingen.

An extensive breakfast buffet is available Monday to Saturday from 06:30 until 10:00, and on Sunday from 06:30 until 10:30. The kitchen is open daily from 12:00 until 21:30. Pets are not permitted in the restaurant.

Children/extra beds: Children under 2 years old can stay at the hotel for free if they are with two paying adults, and provided that no cot is required. A cot can only be provided in the Comfort Room, and costs €12,50 per night. Families with children between the ages of 2 and 15 can stay in a Family Room, which is suitable for three to four people. These rooms are equipped with two beds with a width of 1.40 metres. It is not possible to add an extra bed to a Standard Room.

Noise isolation is not so good
even at the third floor you can hear the cars circulating in the street hopefully there is not much traffic at night.

The staff were helpful and very cheerful. The restaurant was simple but very good and the ambiance great. We had one first floor room with a balcony, which was great. We shall return.
We also had a room on the ground floor, which had no balcony and was not so pleasant.
