Surroundings

Hotel De Lindeboom is situated in a diverse landscape comprising woods, pastures and monumental Saxon farmhouses. The word 'hurry' is seldom uttered here: a consequence of wholesome tranquillity and abundant green surroundings. Several maps featuring walking and cycling routes can be obtained at the hotel. The town of Winterswijk has a lively centre with many shops and outdoor terraces. Het Strandbad is a natural pool and can be found on the edge of town. Nice excursions can be made by car to picturesque places such as Doesburg and Bronckhorst. The Winterswijk stone quarry is regularly open to the public, where you can take a tour to look for fossils and minerals. Theatre performances are also frequently held during the summer.

Every morning a delicious breakfast buffet is available in the cosy breakfast area between 08:30 and 10:00 h.Hotel De Lindeboom has a good restaurant where hotel guests can enjoy a tasty lunch and dinner. The chef loves to prepare healthy, honest dishes from the traditional Dutch as well as French/Italian cuisines. Naturally, everything is prepared using fresh produce. Guests with special dietary requirements can make themselves known at the hotel so that the chef can take this into account. The restaurant is open from 06:00 to 21:00 h.Hotel De Lindeboom, with its restaurant and atmospheric café, is a popular place amongst the locals, and many clubs and societies have made this venue their home base.
