Very nice hotel for the price

Large room, very good breakfast (no hot chocolate, but evrything else you would like...), comfortable bed, and above all, very kind people

FIGI - new

Generally speaking staying in the FIGI hotel is always a pleasure. It is also very centrally located in The Netherlands. However ....

The fridge in the room we stayed in has been removed. A notice states that there is a vending machine in the lift lobby. There is, but for the 5 days we were there it was broken down The hot water was at best lukewarm in our bathroom, whilst in the public area (non-paying people) it was piping hot. Annoying.

Good location in center of Zeist close to City of Utrecht

Very comfortable, extremely well kept, sheets are white and clean. Great staff. We very much enjoy the well taken care of breakfast at Figi s.

Figi is an older hotel and you do see some areas especially the floors and furniture what could use some updating. Absolute no issue for us ,but possibly for others. Its some what noisy, so a room on back of hotel is best for light sleepers.

“My tip: Bus stop across the street to get you easily to the beautiful City of Utrecht. Hotel offers bikes for rent , Zeist is a wooded area with connecting bike paths every where. ”

no important minus points. Personal in the restaurant could be a little more service minded and aware of small details

Very nice and comfortable stay

Location is very good. 5 minutes walk from town centre and beautiful chateau Zeist with park. Very friendly staff, both at reception and restaurant. Free parking.

“My tip: Railway station 'Driebergen-Zeist' is just a short bus (or taxi) drive. From there, a 7 minutes train drive brings you to Utrecht, which is a very nice town to visit with a lot of historical monuments. From Utrecht Central station you can reach the entire country easily. As a bonus, there is direct train every 30 minutes between Driebergen-Zeist and Amsterdam airport (Schiphol).”

Very noisy late at night, in fact ALL night, due to (drunken??) party goers outside the Townhall.

Interesting, pleasant place in very nice area

Very nice position, quiet area except for the bell from the opposite building/ every 15 minutes. Free parking.

For a huge room there is a quite small double bed, and very ucomfortable pillows. No ketlle, tea or coffee in room. Even if we paid our invoice in cash on the day of leaving, we still have blocked credit card for an amount higher then the invoice. Hotel did not respond to our mail to unblock the card.

The standard room is more than standard. A perfect bathroom, the best pillows i ever had in a hotel. Free parking, clean hotel and still beautiful decorated, with indoor cinema and theater. So to say no reason to go outside when everything is inside.
