Hotel Fidder is a hotel with character, established across four stately townhouses. This beautiful family hotel exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The attractive Lounge & Patrick's Bar with a library and fireplace is open throughout the day for a cup of coffee, snacks and drinks. The sun lounge has french doors which open out towards the enclosed courtyard. The stylish hotel rooms come with an antique decor that varies per room. For instance, there are Art Nouveau rooms while other rooms feature a four-poster bed.
In this Hanseatic town you'll encounter centuries-old monuments, beautiful townhouses and historic facades. Zwolle's charming town centre shelters characteristic little streets with an array of good restaurants and boutiques. The Grote Kerk church, the medieval Sassenpoort and the Peperbus - this city's iconic symbol - are all well worth visiting.
Surroundings
From Hotel Fidder it's easy to visit charming Hanseatic town of Hattem, where you can enjoy a beautiful woody setting, Hattem's historic centre, and the Anton Pieck Museum. Anton Pieck was particularly enchanted by Hattem and the museum was designed by the famous illustrator himself. It displays an overview of well-known nostalgic prints, sketches, travel drawings, and oil paintings. Zwolle's surroundings also offer an 18-hole and a 9-hole golf course.

Attentive staff, copious breakfast, quiet street
I was surprised that the full week s charge appeared on my debit card account as soon as I booked, five months earlier. I ll read the small print more carefully another time. Rather impersonal for a week s stay.

Rustig hotel, vriendelijke en behulpzame medewerkers. Schoon en netjes. Unieke stijl, gezellig. Kleine wandeling naar het centrum.
niet erg geschikt voor een langer verblijf voor kinderen, wel prima voor 1 of 2 nachten.

Beautifully restored old town house, full of character with spacious tastefully decorated rooms. Comforts of home with luxurious extras!
Position of radiator in bathroom needs to be changed to avoid accidents - far too close to the toilet.

In a pretty and quiet street in Zwolle, not far from Zwolle city centre.(15 min walk). Lovely reception, restaurant, breakfast room and tea garden. Extremely friendly staff - always smiling and very helpful. Fresh varied breakfast, including English breakfast, very well displayed buffet and abundant. Large bedrooms, really airy with a balcony and comfy bed. Everything functioned well.
Stairs, no elevator. However they do kindly carry your luggage upstairs and it was not really an issue for me.
Dark and sombre rooms due to energy saving bulbs and dark wallpaper and bed linen. Could barely see my face in the mirror. Bedrooms could do a bit with an upgrade(old bed linen, old wall paper, old bathroom) and with a full body mirror especially if you are travelling on business.
However, I must admit, I really enjoyed my stay.

Friendly staff at reception, great breakfast & really old world cosy rooms. I\'d stay here again if I ever returned to Zwolle!
No lifts so have to lug suitcases up a really narrow windy stairway.

Beautiful common rooms and a lovely guest room as well. Great breakfast.
A little far from the city center for walking, but a lovely neighborhood nonetheless. Our street-side room was a little noisy from young neighbors partying across the street.

Very good service and lush breakfast buffet.
As a rather tall person I would prefer longer beds, of course with an old look fitting the rest of the interior.
