Interesting sights in the charming capital of the province of Overijssel are the 'Grote Kerk' church, the tower 'Peperbus' (Pepperbox) and the medieval city gate 'Sassenpoort'. You can tour the city from the water by pedal boat or round-trip boat. Several walking tours will lead you along the most prominent sights of the former fortified city. The ' Kop van Overijssel' area and the banks of the 'IJssel' river offer excellent opportunities for a cycling trip.

Children will enjoy the popular amusement parks 'Walibi World' and 'Hellendoorn', which are located at a 30-minute drive from the hotel. In Zwolle you can find the nature theme park 'Ecodrome' and the 'Stedelijk Museum Zwolle'.

There are really many things in this hotel nice ambiance clean, fast services (reception, restaurent etc.)beatyful surrounding area, good food etc.
The temperature was a bit cold in the room and could not set with the termostat.
“My tip: finally I ve realized that the air blowing system is only for cooling not for heating and regulated the temp. by the radiator reg. button. I think the curtain is too long and too much isolating the radiator.”

This is one of the very best hotels we have ever stayed at for the price. The hard-working staff was extremely efficient and helpful, the room was extremely clean, everything worked, hassle-free internet and tv, absolutely outstanding breakfast with excellent service (full marks to the friendly but unobtrusive lady in charge). If you have a car, the situation is ideal: quiet, easy free parking, near the main highway. All in all you cannot get better than this for the price.
The restaurant is not cheap and the choice is quite limited, if you want to have dinner, but the food tastes good.
If you don't have a car, it's at least a half hour's walk into the centre of the very nice town of Zwolle.
“My tip: Zwolle is a very nice stop-off place if you are travelling through the Netherlands, and you cannot do better than staying the night at this hotel - we have tried several, and this is the best.”

A very good hotel with very freindly staff
A little far from the town about 40 min walk of 10 euro taxi ride

Very useful that we could hire bikes at the hotel
About the breakfast: didn't like the cook of the sausages and eggs...
Too much noise at night from the motorway nearby, and from some machine that I didn't recognise what it was

Approach to highways and Zwolle by car is very good.
Parking space is excellent.
Rooms to simple and to small.
Food very average.
The whole is too basic for the € 128,- per room

It IS expensive - almost too expensive for med- but as you see I have given you 10 points for everything - it means that I think I get full value for my money, and that I'll probably come back next time I visit my daughter
The knives in the restaurant are elegant but very difficult to cut with.We forget it from one visit to the next, but we always make the same observations

- Uitstekende locatie, vlakbij de Ijsselhallen (geweldig als je naar een concert gaat)
- Zeer goede hygiene (kamer en badkamer)
- Bedden kraken en kussens zijn te zacht
- Niet bepaald goedkoop (zelfs zonder ontbijt ed)
- Kamers laten veel geluid door: je hoort alles op de gang en luide conversaties in aangrenzende kamers

De service van alle medewerkers was zeer efficient en vriendelijk. Verder werd er goed ingespeeld op de individuele behoeften van de gast.
Onderhoud van de liften kan beter - we hebben de uit het plafond vallende belichting en bedrading behendig weten te ontwijken!!

The building works going on made the hotel not as clean as could be expected. The breakfast selection was limited.
