Boutique Hotel de Doelen is established in a splendid historical building, at the foot of the Martini Tower and in the bustling heart of Groningen. The atmospheric building in which Boutique Hotel de Doelen is established has a long history as a hotel. The building dates from 1798 and has been used as a hotel for over 200 years. Many original features have remained in tact. The stunning stained glass dome above the staircase is particularly striking. Several terraces can be found in front of the hotel and are teeming during nice weather. The place to see and be seen.
The hotel has a wonderful classically decorated lounge, just like the rest of the premises. It is the perfect place to unwind after a busy day in the city. Here, guests can relax in an informal setting whilst enjoying a drink and a bite to eat. The kitchen is open until 21:00. Plus it's possible to order dinner in the lounge.
