At the Wilhelminapier on the Maas river, Hotel New York is established in the former headquarters of the Holland America Line. Until the early seventies, many passengers set sail to America from here, mostly with New York as their final destination. The symmetric façade of the building is characterized by bay windows, small towers, balconies and beautiful decorations.

In the lobby you can purchase a newspaper or magazine at the small book shop. Across from the oyster bar there is a kiosk, that offers a range of products that are related to the hotel. The New York Barbershop in the basement features a retro-style interior. Here you can have a haircut or a shave.
The hotel rooms vary in colour, shape and interior. All rooms offer air conditioning, a bathroom with a shower and/or bath, toilet, television with a radio and a telephone. Most of the spacious, high rooms have a river view. Throughout the building you can use wireless internet at an additional charge. At the reception you can rent a CD or DVD player.
