The National Park Zuid-Kennemerland lies to the north and east of Zandvoort, and is one of twenty national parks in the Netherlands. The area is largely freely accessible, but you can also book excursions.
Zandvoort is the final stop of the Amsterdam-Haarlem-Zandvoort train line. As such, these cities are easy to get to. Haarlem is a charming shopping city and offers a number of interesting museums and points of interest. Amsterdam speaks for itself. The train journey to Amsterdam is just half an hour, and you can be in Haarlem within 10 minutes.
The surrounding countryside of Zandvoort is close at hand, and during the spring months Keukenhof is the most famous flower park in the world. 32-hectares filled with beautiful flowers await the many visitors that flock here every year.
