The apartments are equipped with a spacious living room with TV, micro-wave and a fridge. All apartments were kept in authentic state, with ceilings with wooden beams, wooden floors and original brickwork.

Aparthotel Van Ecke is situated on the Trendy Zuid of Antwerp. Within walking distance you can find various museums, such as the Fashion Museum, the Fashion Palace and the Museum of Fine Arts. Besides, the main square Grand Place (Grote Markt) lies within walking distance as well. Antwerp is great for shopping as well. The Aparthotel is located in a street with many beautiful boutiques, but also the large shopping street De Meir is well-accessible.

Travelling alone maart 2013
Good location, short walk to the old centre. Large room with cooking facilities. Comfortable lounging area. As the name implies, it is more like a private apartment than a hotel room. No service, although the owners are very willing to help.
Main drawback, no lift, and I had to climb 4 flights of stairs. I don't know how many apartments there are, but one per floor, and I was on the top. Also low ceilings above the bed and in the bathroom were a bit of a problem. I hit my head a couple of times.

Really great place to stay. Perfect location. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable and relaxed. Exposed brick walls and wood ceiling beams a nice touch...at a great price.
