Hotel
Bruges is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. The historic core is a medieval city included in the UNESCO world heritage list. Between the winding alleys and romantic 'reien' (canals) you almost feel as if you have arrived in the middle ages. In the 19th century the Gothic Revival conquered the city and many buildings were repaired and embellished in neo-Gothic style. At the nearby Grand Place a number of neo-Gothic buildings can be found next to the belfry.
The rooms of the charming Hotel Aragon come with air conditioning, a television, a telephone, free WiFi, a safe, a mini-bar, and tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom features a bath, a shower and a toilet.
Surroundings
The 'Vlaamse Kunstcollectie' (Flemish Art Collection) includes collections of the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp, the 'Groeningemuseum' in Bruges and the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent. The collections complement each other perfectly, and together they tell the story of art in Flanders from the 15th to the 21st century. In Bruges, the historical museums the 'Gruuthuse', 'Gentpoort', the Belfry and City Hall each tell the history of Bruges from a different angle.
Food and Drink
The hotel does not have a restaurant, but you'll find many excellent restaurants in the city, including restaurant 'De Karmeliet', which has several Michelin stars.

having to pay €12 to park your car overnight at the hotel, one of the sockets in the bedroom was dangerous as it was hanging off the wall, also the shower temperature wasnt constant.

hotels is very beautiful, and we liked our room very much, especially the bathroom. location is perfect. we had a very nice stay there. i would consider coming back to this hotel, but perhaps after a ´service´test by phone or email next time.. :-) thanks and all the best
1. before we checked it, we called the hotel several times at night, the night service was not very professional. the phone had to ring for a long time before it was picked up by a sleep voice, and phone manner was not that of a 4 star hotel. 2. we also had email correspondence with the hotel a week before our check it. email correspondenc was also not professional, your staff did not address us by our name, instead the staff used only ´dear,(blank),`. in addition, email message was very casual, all small letters. and, the message was not helpful. we simply asked for directions to get to your hotel from the train station, and it took us 2 to 3 email messages to get half of the anwers we wanted. 3. we called the hotel during the day time to ask for clear directions, and the person who answered the phone did not even know what bus to take to come to your hotel, or the name of the bus stop to get off. sure we could take a taxi, but how could the staff not know the basic info? conclusion, so altogether we had contacts with 3 to 4 different persons at your hotle, 2 times night shift, 1 time day shift, and 1 email writer, and the general impression was that the staff was not very professional nor efficent nor informative. i expect that from a bed and breakfast or a youth hostel, but not from a 4 star hotel. oh also, breakfast could have been more exciting..
