Hotel

Hotel de Goezeput does its utmost to make sure guests feel at home. And this has not gone unnoticed, with several recommendations in various influential travel guides. The hotel is located in a former 18th century cloister. The decor is contemporary, cosy and comfortable, and guests receive a warm welcome. After a day of sightseeing in Bruges, it is wonderful to relax in the cosy bar and lounge of the hotel.

The rooms have a great atmosphere thanks to the original features that have been preserved. The beautiful windows, high ceilings and wooden floors give each room a taste of its former cloister days. It is quietly located, and you can enjoy a good night's sleep in the excellent beds. All rooms feature a television and an ensuite bathroom with a shower and a toilet.

Surroundings

For anyone who enjoys exuberance, Bruges is a true paradise. Try fine dining in one of the many restaurants or sit down with a regional beer on a terrace, for example on the Eiermarkt. Wander around the medieval streets and do a bit of shopping along the way. It is interesting to visit the 13th century Cathedral of Our Lady; the burial place of the Duke of Burgundy, Charles the Bold, and his daughter, Mary of Burgundy. You can also admire Michelangelo's masterpiece 'Madonna with Child' here. Children, on the other hand, will love a trip to the Boudewijn Seapark, a theme park in the Sint-Michiels district. It has a dolphinarium with seals, sea lions and dolphins as well as a bird of prey show.

Breakfast is served in the hotel's breakfast area, every morning between 08:30 and 10:30.

Between 17:00 and 21:00, you can enjoy a cup of tea, coffee or a drink in the bar. Beautiful, welcoming Hotel close to the city center.

A beautiful hotel that included breakfast. The price was very reasonable and the staff were very friendly and helpful even booking a tour for us.

No phones in the rooms. We stayed for 3 nights and like to make contact back home but could not and also what if you needed to call for medical or police assistance? The reception was closed in the early evening and you are given a code to get back in the building, all practical but without a phone in the room, we felt vulnerable.

“My tip: Have a cell phone that is operable in Europe”
