The impressive façade of this monumental 16th century mansion shelters the beautifully atmospheric 4-star hotel Jan Brito. Inside you'll encounter a wealth of original features, such as an oak staircase, matble mantelpieces and several wall paintings. All of which have been lovingly restored. A delightful Renaisssance-style garden is situated at the back of the hotel. A lovely spot for guests to unwind in, soak up the sun or relax in the shade of the 100-year-old beech tree.
Many interesting sights can be found nearby. Bruges' city centre is easy to explore on foot. Hotel Jan Brito Brugge was honoured with three World Luxury Hotel Awards in 2017. It received the following titles: Luxury Family Hotel of Belgium, Luxury City Hotel of Belgium, and Luxury Historical Hotel of Belgium.

Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful staff. Best breakfast I ever had in any hotel.
Shower/bath so small struggled to have a shower. Rest of bathroom / room fine.

the garden: plants and silence
the quality of your coffee in the morning at breakfast is awfull. Probably your most important visitors (the English) don\'t like strong coffee.
However, every morning I was served an excellent cup of expresso.
Look under the bed of room 30. The dust under it
hasn\'t been removed a long time.
The garden should be looked after; the paths are getting narrow because of the overwhelming growth of some plants.
