Hotel staff (all) were very pleasant and helpful. Room clean and comfortable. Compared to other hotels the discounted price is reasonable. (But only if you are going to be dropped off and picked up by taxi.)
Location is very, very poor. It is in the red light district and very difficult to find on foot. I was propositioned for sexual services 100m from the hotel and in a bar around the corner. I felt unsafe walking back to the hotel from the metro.
Rating on price/quality above is very much as a result of location - a hotel in such an area ought to be cheaper. I am afraid that I could never recommend this hotel to anyone. The name of the hotel - City Centre - is a touch misleading.
“My tip: Do not stay here if you are travelling alone and intend to be out when it is dark. If you do stay here be aware that it is a long difficult walk from the metro stations nearby if you have any luggage.”

Very clean hotel, excellent location even if the red light district is behind the hotel, we were in Grand Place within 10 minutes. Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff who spoke English and very helpful. 5 mins walk from the Gare du Nord and 6 stations by tram from Gare du Midi.
A bit noisy as we were beside a police station.

it was excellent accomodation for its value, we paid half price and vey clean hotel close to the center you can even walk home after going out at night to bars and pubs
its in the middle of the red light district but I guess bruxelle wasnt the center of crime anyway, and one of the receptionists had an awful attitude but who can blame him 45 and still a receptionist
