Surroundings
Hotel Saint Nicolas is very central and close to various entertainment venues. You'll be on the famous Grote Markt square within a few minutes. This square features historic buildings and lovely outdoor terraces. You should definitely try one of the local delicacies: bonbons, waffles, beer and fries. Around the corner of the square is Manneken Pis, literally meaning Little Man Pee. This little guy dons a new outfit on a regular basis, and his entire collection of outfits can be seen at the Lakenhalle in the Town Hall.
Food and Drink
Breakfast is served on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 07:00 until 11:00. It is not possible to have dinner at the hotel, but there are plenty of restaurants in the direct vicinity. A vending machine offering hot and cold drinks is situated on the ground floor. From the hotel you can walk straight to the Grote Markt square, which is surrounded by nice outdoor terraces.

Unpleasant staff, left the door to the room unlocked after cleaning, bad cleaning, noisy surroundings.

We needed a boost and the maintenance man and the receptionist were absolutely wonderful to us. We will stay here anytime we are in Brussels. I have already directed my family and friends to this hotel. Their service and kindness was exceptional. AAA+++ May17th morning, so you can identify the employees. They were exceptional people.
the beds need to be replaced. They are terrible. but for one it was just ok. they were clean though.

Room was extremely small. You could hardly walk past the desk from the be when going to the bathroom. The price was 248 Euro for one night.
