Boutique Hotel De Smulpot is situated in the centre of Den Burg on the West Frisian Island of Texel. The stylish hotel is an excellent choice if you want to spend time on the beach and visit the island's many little villages. What's more, the hotel has a good restaurant, which serves a delicious lunch and dinner.
The luxurious rooms come with extra long double box-spring beds (2.10 m) with large down-filled duvets and four pillows. The bathrooms feature a large walk-in shower with a rain shower. The rooms are equipped with dimmable lighting, large HD LED flatscreens with digital cable television, free WiFi, a sitting area with comfortable chairs and a desk, and a safe that's big enough to store larger laptops. The fridge is stocked with mineral water and a small bottle of wine, which are included in the room rate.
Surroundings
Texel is the largest of the West Frisian Islands with no less than 30 kilometres of beautiful beaches. The island is perfect for long walks and bike rides. The central location of Hotel de Smulpot makes Texel easy to explore. Woods, dunes, beaches, shops, nightlife venues and interesting sights all lie within close range.

The rooms are simply and tastefully decorated, recently renovated, so very neat clean, and comfortable. The open bathroom is immaculate with a great shower.
It is situated in the centre of Den Burg, but right opposite the church, whose bells chime the hour every hour, and chime once every half hour day and NIGHT If you are located at the front of the hotel, and like to sleep with windows open, then take ear plugs

Excellent room, really comfortable - modern, clean and spacious with a wonderful shower. To show I am not making it up, only one small deficiency - no hand soap for the bathroom, which is easily remedied. And the food and catering, and welcome downstairs were excellent.
The soap... nothing else!
