Geetbets is an attractive village where you can go for a walk or cycle through the orchards. The lack of traffic lights and motorways in the village ensure a peaceful stay. You can visit the stately castle at Herk-de-Stad, which lies in the vicinity of Geetbets. This village also has a park with a pond, a playground for the little ones and a tavern. By car, you can reach the city of Hasselt in 30 minutes. This city is known for its abundance of shops and good restaurants. The Japanese garden in Hasselt also makes for a good day out.
