VixX Hotel Mechelen offers the luxury of a private apartment combined with hotel service. Each of the eight suites has extensive facilities. Utterly unwind on the XL bed measuring 2 metres in width and 2.10 metres in length with a high quality pillow top mattress. The spacious bathroom offers a walk-in rainshower and a 2-person bathtub, plus there is also a separate toilet. The suite also comes with a sitting area, a desk, a dining table and an open plan kitchen with a Nespresso machine, a ceramic stove, a fridge, a microwave and a dishwasher. If you want to make life easy for yourself you can even request the hotel's grocery service in advance; this way your fridge will be fully stocked upon arrival. Fancy a bit of relaxation during your stay? Then watch a film on the LED television in the living room or bedroom, listen to some music through the BOSE docking station and enjoy the ambience provided by Philips Living Colours. The suites feature free Wi-Fi and each suite comes with a patio. Guests can make free use of the secured car park situated opposite the hotel; please indicate if you wish to make use of this facility when booking. Surroundings
VixX Hotel has a perfect location, just 200 metres from the Grote Markt square with its outdoor cafés and restaurants. Within a 5-minute walk you'll find yourself enjoying great shopping streets in the areas of Bruul, IJzerenleen and Onze-Lieve-Vrouwestraat. De Kruidtuin city park is also a lovely spot for an invigorating morning walk.
Food and Drink
Start the day with an extensive breakfast buffet including freshly prepared eggs, Nespresso coffee and fresh rolls served in the ambient breakfast area. From Monday through Friday breakfast is available from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 08:00 until 11:00. It is also possible to have breakfast brought to your suite if you request this service whilst checking in.Your suite also features a kitchen allowing you to prepare meals yourself. Rather dine out? Restaurants and eateries can be found within easy walking distance. The hotel has a roof terrace where drinks are served until 23:00.
