Feast your eyes in Mons! It's a beautiful city steeped in culture and history, which is still clearly visible in the current cityscape. Only a handful of cities are able to lay claim to such a rich heritage. The best way to discover Mons and its attractions is by taking a city walk. Start on the beautiful Grand Place square. Walk through the colossal ports of the Town Hall and on to the historic centre. At the end of the road is Jardin du Mayeur. From here you can follow the little streets and alleys of Passage Victor Hugo and Ruelle César, which will transport you into the past. Finally, you'll come to the castle park, the city's highest point. Here you'll find the belfry, the chapel of Sint-Callistus and the Saint Waltrude Collegiate Church.
Food and Drink
The hotel has two different restaurants: Restaurant Quai 5 with traditional cuisine and a sunny terrace, and a lounge bar with a "fast" kitchen. Restaurant Quai 5 is a modern restaurant with an original open-plan kitchen and an internationally inspired menu. It offers tasty and healthy dishes from Belgium and abroad. In the restaurant, monthly events are organised with different themes, such as Greek night, Italian night and Jazz night, involving a delicious buffet coupled with themed entertainment. In addition, there is a jazz band every second and fourth Friday of the month.
