The stay in hotel was perfect. We will visit it again next time in brug

The hotel is cosy. Rooms are confortable. The service is good and in restaurant the serveur were very helpful. My wife is hardly allegical to gluten and lactose. They provided food cook without gluten and lactose (butter cook ). We appreciated.

    Lack of newspaper in French.

“My tip: The bar is very cosy. From Hotel it s very easy to go to Brugges.”

Lovely Place, Excellent Rooms, Meals & Staff

Wonderful staff, so nice to stay at this hotel.

Arrived at the hotel at 14:15 - We had to wait two hours for a room to be ready, allthough the hotel was very busy. this was not so good after travelling for 7 hours. This is the only minus point we've experienced during any of our stays.

“My tip: Best breakfast meals of any hotel we've stayed in. If you're travelling by car into the city, the eastiest car park to access is the underground entrance on the road 'Koning Albert I-Laan'”

    Not as normal

We frequently use VdValk hotels and always like them as the standard is high. Bed in this hotel is very comfortable. Convenient location.

We have stayed in this hotel several times before. However, we found this time that there are some signs a deterioration of the normal VDV standard for instance the carpet was stained in one place and something had been spilt down the wall leaving a mark. The room was also very dusty.

The internal comfort make you forget the nearby road

Very good decoration. Excellent Internet connexion. Restaurant: very good food.

The proximity of the road means noises: Even in a room on the opposite site you can ear the traffic.

A very nice hotel not far from Brugges

We also enjoyed the little balcony. the hotel is close to a shopping centre and to a bus stop from where you can take a bus to Brugges.

    Good base for cycling holiday

Large well appointed bedrooms. Good car park. Friendly helpful staff. Many excellent cycle routes around the area.

Noisy rooms near motorway side of the hotel. Isolated location.

“My tip: Bring a bicycle and cycle into Brugge on very quiet cycle route,”

A very pleasant 2 night stay, I will use this hotel again!

Very helpful staff, keen to rectify any problems.

A meal we had in the restaurant at night was cold when served, it was returned to the kitchens but the replacement was also cold. Some of the breakfast food (eggs, sausages) were cold our first morning but hot the second.

“My tip: Stay away from the Suckling Pig meal in the restaurant, it was cold and poor value for money.”

Staying at this hotel was like being at home BUT with no work, bliss.

We found the hotel to be welcoming, spotless and a delight to stay at. We spent two nights at the outset of our vacation and then 3 nights at the end of the holiday- both stays were relaxing and we were made to feel so welcome. The service in the restaurant was excellent and the food superb, thank you.
