The family-run Heynen in Valkenburg has a pleasant and homely feeling. Thanks to the hotel's hospitality you'll quickly feel at home here; and many guests return because they enjoy the warm-hearted character of the staff. Explore the countryside by following one of the walking or cycling routes in the area, such as the Pieterpad and the Krijtlandpad.
Hotel Heynen has been managed by the same family for over three generations. The simple and clean rooms all come with a television, and an ensuite shower and a toilet. You can sit in the lovely back garden in summer. The hotel has its own car park and Valkenburg railway station is just a 10-minute walk away.

Hotel Heynen is located between the cities of Heerlen and Maastricht. Trips to Aachen in Germany or Liège in Belgium are also easy to achieve. You can visit the impressive marble caves, which date back to the 11th century, and castles, a cableway and a woodland fairytale theme park can also be found in the area. The nearby spa of Thermae 2000 is perfect if you're looking for some pure relaxation.

A charming small Hotel offering excellent value and high standards. The single bedroom, and bed, were very comfortable, Also the bathroom and shower facilities were first rate. The staff could not have been more helpful.
“My tip: The extensive caves under the Castle Hill are well worth visiting. Guided tours only, three or four times a day. - check at Tourist Information for times of these. Houtham St, Gerlach, the next door village ,has a splendid Baroque Church, covered in early nineteenth century frescos”

Quiet location only 10 minutes walk from station and from town centre. Nice friendly B&B. Good breakfast. Would certainly stay there again.
