The beautiful Hotel l'Eau Vive lies in the pleasant village of Vresse Sur Semois. The Ardennes are a splendid, woody low mountain range in east Belgium. It offers many opportunities for recreation. For instance, you can take lovely walks along the river Semois. The surroundings are also great to explore by bicycle, mountain bike or even canoe. Of course, relaxing by the riverside is also a lovely way to spend your day. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and hospitable. They are also happy to offer tips and advice about fun excursions.
The rooms are cosy and comfortably furnished and come with a television as well as an ensuite bathroom with a shower or bath and a toilet. Most rooms are on the riverside and offer a beautiful and tranquil view. The other rooms face the woods. All rooms provide peace, space and plenty of comfort.
Surroundings
Hotel l'Eau Vive is located in the beautiful village of Vresse Sur Semois in the Ardennes area. Traditionally, Vresse has always been artists' village. The river Semois, which runs through the village, is 10 kilometers long and is very popular amongst appreciators of nature. Culture lovers will also enjoy a visit to a museum dedicated to tobacco cultivation and regional folklore. The town of Orchimont is also worth a visit. Many fortresses were placed here in olden days in order to defend the town, and these are still visible today. The look-out spots of Roche des Fées and Rocher au Corbeau offer a splendid view of the picturesque countryside.
Food and Drink
The hotel has a pleasant and stylish restaurant, where you can enjoy breakfast from 08:00 until 10:00. The kitchen also serves delicious candlelit dinners from 18:30 until 21:00, and it is lovely to sit on the beautiful outdoor terrace in summer. The bar is open throughout the day, until about 23:00, for a cup of coffee, an aperitif or an after-dinner drink.
