Prices are affordable with the given quality.
Too noisy... I stayed in room number 117, and the two adjacent rooms are creating too much interference in sleep. In the room on the right side, the couples were quarrelling and shouting whole night, while the other room was actually a dorm, with 4-5 young people laughing and shouting whole night. The room was small and we dont prefer it on the first floor (almost ground floor) having bicycles parked near your window.

Easy access by Bus or Tram which stop a few yards away from the Hotel. Price was good and the room was very clean with a comfortable bed, It also had an en-suite shower & toilet. Breakfast was a basic continetal type with meat cheeses, jams, juices and good coffee.

- Tram stop is very near! Easy to jump in and go to the city center. - Cleaning plus new towels every day.
- Three beds in a double room didn't leave any space to luggage and people. - Breakfast was ok, but nothing fresh (vegetables or fruits) on it!

Great staff. Bathroom and room very clean!!
My room had not heating, it was freezing all the time... but if you go in summer, I guess that is no problem

It is near a tram bus stop and easy to get into town
It was a paradise of deception. I had a terrible experience in this hotel. I stayed in room 102. First, there was mold in the bathroom ceiling. Secondly, there is no ventilator in the bathroom. Thirdly, when I left my shavers and other bathing stuff in the bathroom, at the place provided for it, it got soaked up. At first I thought it was the moist in the bathroom, but only to realize immediately that the bathroom was leaking, literally pouring water through the broken ceiling. Again, literally pouring water when the person above me is taking a shower. Everything I had in the bathroom was condemned. I complained and the girl on duty told me that I shouldn't leave my shavers and bathing stuff in the bathroom. It was then that I called the police and just before there was an intervention, they agreed to replace my shaver and they did with a rather extremely substandard quality. I threatened to sue them unless they promise to fix the hotel and avoid the deception in their adverts. The internet barely worked and never in the rooms, may be once or twice. Even in the bar, it barely worked. What pains me more was the hostile attitude I received from the reception when I took the girl to show her the mess in my room because water was pouring from above. She simply told me to call the police if I want. Honestly, as I write now, I am very sick and my best bet is that i picked some bug from that dungeon. They should simply fix the hotel. And I am still considering criminal charges against the owners including full compensation for my stuff that was damaged and damage to my health. This was a blatant act of deception. The question of course is why should I stay in such hotel if it was that bad? My answer is that I came for a conference. Checked in at night and was at the university the whole day. I left early, and came back late. Just on the day that I was late that I realized the mess I was living in. Ignorance was bliss for a time. It was a 3 star hotel. May be it used to be. But not anymore. And it surprises me that the government of Netherlands do not carry inspections in these hotels. It is unfortunate that the authorities are not aware of these things to enforce certain standard. And please note, apart from the girl who thought he wouldn't care if the police intervened or not, the rest in the reception were excellent. They were mostly helpful. So, my complaint is to the owner of the hotel and maintenance team. If I continue with criminal action, it is them that I will sue.

very cheap, pretty clean, a nice hotel if you're on a budget and just want a place where you can sleep after a night out in town
the walls are pretty thin so pray you don't have an annoying neighbor in the next room

Close to tram station. Ok for its price (except problems below).
No hot water in the shower one morning. (The reply? \"Yes. *shrug* It is like that sometimes.\") The wireless internet worked very sporadically. You have to ask for information about it too. Not very exciting breakfast.

Friendly and helpful staff. Pretty clean room, quiet during the night (our rooms was ground floor facing the backyard). Tramp stop just around the corner of the hotel (10-12 mins. to Central Station).
Most importantly: By NO means a 3 star hotel - 2 stars are much more correct, we both would say. Not really worth the price they´re asking, but then again Amsterdam IS expensive. Breakfast was VERY basic - \"Buffet\" is just not the right word... Our room had quite a few things needed to be fixed (or damages) like: \"punching hole\" in two of the three doors, crack in the bottomn of the shower cabinett, leakage from the transision of the showerhaed and the tube, towelholder coming down the wall (literally), both lights over the bed not working. The latter probably only defect lightbulbs, but it doesn´t take much to check that, does it?

Good Price and Tram direct to city centre outside hotel takes less than 10 minutes
Reception was not friendly and a little brusque. The bathroom door in the bedroom jammed shut a few times - luckily I was not inside because help to get it open was not always there.

Location is quite convinience, it is very near the city center and the airport.
The room and bed is too small, no extra bed for my daughter. We cannot sleep. It is near the main road with heavy transport. It is very noisy since the quality of window is not good.

The price is right if you are looking for somewhere to crash that is just a small step above a youth hostel. When I say a small step I mean the only difference is that you have your own bathroom. The only other good thing I can think of is that the TV worked.
There was hair all over the place in the room, you have to leave your key with reception whenever you leave the hotel, the location is near NOTHING, my legs started to itch after laying on the bed for more than a half of an hour.

Amsterdam is a wonderfull city. It wasn\'t as expensive as that but really too much for the room, the hotel, the food, the personnal.
We had 2 blankets for 1 in a bed for 2. It was smelling cold tabacco. The room was very small and everything was old and dammaged in the room. breakfast wasn\'t verry ggod and there were no koffee anymore at 9.40. There were holes in our towels. The dirty towels of all the hotel were sitting in bags just in front of our room. No windows to open. No fresh drinks to sale. Nothing in the room about the hôtel (for breakfast etc...).
