Sometimes it was impossible to take a shower because there were no hot water, even after half an hour of tapping. There was always strange noise when somebody was taking shower in other rooms. Very small room for the price. The hotel blocks money for one night and then at check out deposits all the money for all nights, so the blocked money can not be spent for at least 24 hours. Sometimes this is critical.

Very clean room at a fair price. From other reviews, I expected the room to be small, and it was, but it was fine.

Great girls night outQ

There were 4 females in our group out of a night in Amsterdam. The staff was polite and made us feel very comfortable.

We had a large stand up ash tray right outside the door and none of us smoked..so the smell was strong as you entered or exited the room.

Breakfast and location was super top. small rooms but tidy and no noise, except from late customers who will always make some rumple

Clean, good value

Very clean bathroom, single room is small but all you need if you plan on seeing the town. Amsterdam is easy to get to by tram or buy the canal by walking less than 1K to the corner.

it's small but neat, stayed at the top floor which was fine - don't know about other floors cause it is kind of noisy walking around and having a room right next to the elevator but oropax can do.

- easy to reach - budget single room has its own shower and toillet - 24hour reception - good if you need a stay to crash

- the room is a bit outdated - some lights in the room did not worked (just change the light bulb)

Mostly (except for one incident) excellent service and reasonable prices. Rooms are good and the location just next to Leidscheplein is great. Rooms are good (for 3 stars)

Terrible Stay

Nothing really I can think of

Walls thin as cardboard, rude personnel, tiny, shabby room. When confronted multiple times with the fact that I could not sleep properly several nights in a row because of very loud neighbours and too thin walls, the people at the reception never offered another room, just empty excuses.

For a lot of money I just got a tiny dark room in the basement. Rude personal, unexciting breakfast with no fruit or veg, and plastic foil constantly put back on top of all things, which did not seem very hygienic.

This hotel is pretty basic but is clean and close to all that Amsterdam has to offer. The staff are all very pleasant and happy to help.

The internet connection could do with an update.

close to leidesplein, easy access from train station via tram, helpful and pleasant staff, all spoke good english, the cleaning lads were very polite and thorough,so give them a pay rise eh ! , night staff too didnt mind us nipping in & out all the time, breakfast and service in morning very good and was easy big enough, scrambled eggs too just right ! all round recommended, safe too with your stuff/luggage etc

none really, tv didnt work but who wants to watch foreign telly anyhow on holiday ?

Good old days style, so who cares that the television is small and bad

The personel is friendly and try to answer all kind of questions.

No vegetables or fruits on the breakfast table. Mostly white bread and even the dark bread was soft and sweet.
