This place is falling apart...

The location is really great.

During our 2 days stay: - Two days in a row there was boiler breakdown, so we had no warm water - The second day there was also a pipe breakage, so as an additional attraction we got waterfalls in our room. To be fair, they gave us the money back. Still, I definitely can't recommend this place.

A good deal in Amsterdam

The location was great and the room was comfortable.

The room was really dark and that made it hard to pack up at the end without being sure we weren't missing things. Otherwise though, it was great.

it is literally in the heart of Amsterdam, that is the red glittery heart of red light district.

Room quality was baseline (not too bad, but not good ether). Staying between brothels can be bothersome....

Worst Experience Of A Hostel In MY LIFE

Location is good because its in the Red Light District, other than that i would not recommend this hostel to anyone.

They authorize your credit card before you arrive for the first nights stay, and you don't receive it back on your card for 30 days, its an absolute disgrace, their customer service is the worst i have ever seen and i am a seasoned traveler, they don't even respond to your your emails, they steal your deposit for the security box as well. ***PLEASE AVOID THIS HOSTEL***

awesome themed hostel! :) Really great for people travelling alone/ in small groups- very easy to meet super-awesome people. Breakfast was good, free net on computers in lobby, clean.

Very leaky shower in one of the rooms, HUGE difference in prices paid- people who booked in person paid up to 15 euros less per night! (this site gave median price)

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Great common area with free WiFi and laptop access allowing you to meet other travels (especially for those travelling alone). Very centrally located to all the major hotspots!

Good European Breakfast included, Close to the major attractions and to transport, free internet.

Dorm 20 is right next to Street level so can be noisy \'till very late. Needs some maintanence -Bathroom floor floods, dorm doors squeek and 1 toilet permanently out of order

Great location and service. Beds is already made and with a locker. free internet access with a computer in the front. Also have wi-fi access if you have a laptop.

Smoking area is in the back that leads towards some of the back room.

Nice and friendly personell, easy to find, close to Central station. Clean beds and bathroom. reasonable price

1 windowpane broken, leaking from the roof but as the wastepapper basket was below this was obviously known. Very noisy at night. Did not know what kind of street it was before we came would have chosen other hotel if we had known but we did not have any problems and the number of police of tourist made us feel safe.
