Almost always have stayed in the apartments with no problems before. It is a nice space when the room is properly presented

One television didn t work and had to be replaced two tv s in apartment but only one remote to work them. The hair dryer stopped working second day and had to call for a replacement and wait for a technician. The hotel wanted to charge me a 200 euro security deposit that would only be refunded in cash as opposed to a deposit held on the credit card. I really didn t need 200 euros as i m leaving to come back to America.Any time an issue was addressed no could make a decision themselves a coll

Very nice apartment very good location

Housekeeping didn t clean my room on the day they were supposed to.the next day went to the front desk to ask them to come clean the room and they did There was always a drug dealer at the entrance of the appartment building. Not very nice

How to miss a flight...

Front desk helped me out tremendously when my alarm did not go off and I missed my flight. They alerted KLM of my absence and helped me find another flight the next day. Kudos to all at the front desk at the Krasnapolsky!

Air conditioner would not turn off. Not good in the wintertime...

A bit noisy, especially on weekend nights. And there is a mouse or mice in the apartment. A BIG minus: The fitness center should open at 7 or 7:30 on weekends just as it does on weekdays. Working out while traveling is important, and it doesn't matter if it's a weekday or weekend. Thank you.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It met our needs perfectly.

During our week's stay, the fire alarm rang twice. The first occasion was very early in the morning. We were told it was an "error" but received little more than a shrug of apology after being awakened by the alarm and tromping around to the front desk to determine whether it was safe to return to our apartment. The second incident apparently was a cooking fire, but it was again difficult to determine when it was safe to return.

There was a flood in the kitchen which was supposedly fixed and happened again two day later. I am handicapped and requested a ground or first floor apartment. The apartment was on both floors; they gave me a duplex, with the sleeping area down a tight winding staircasre.

Minke de Leeuw den Bouter was extremely nice. We've stayed at this hotel a few times before this visit and will return. Additionally, the concierge was wonderful. From arranging an early morning taxi and answering general questions.

The Location is everything at this place! The kitchen was decent and suited our needs well

The bed sucks! The dryer did not work on the laundry machine (which really sucked) and the TV System was a complete frustrating mess

Fantastic central apartment

We stayed for 11 nights in this fantastic central location, in a spotless, beautiful character apartment with 2 TV's and stunning views of the Summergarden. We also enjoyed the outstanding breakfast in the Wintergarden. The staff were a pleasure to deal with, the service was excellent. We will be staying at the Krasnapolsky Apartments again.

Aprila who checked us in was outstanding, very welcoming and helpful. The apartmenbt was beautiful, very spacious and perfectly located.

We were contacted 5 times on Saturday as your system showed we were leaving. Despite a trip to recepyion to show our confirmation we still continued to receive calls

Hotel K was the perfect stay ... again!

Hotel K is THE PLACE TO STAY in Amsterdam because they have everything you need, everything you want, great breakfast buffet, and are located close to everything great in A-dam central. I'd recommend Hotel K Apartments to those couples visiting A-dam for any length of time. Apartments are luxury and worth the best rate found at Holels.nl

No minus points during the visit. We were very lucky regarding trip cancellations due to Icelandic Vocano eruptions that caused havoc in Europe for 1 week. Hotel K was 100% solid with us in the crisis, and told us not to worry about accomodations, and they'd have accomodations for us if we were bumped or cancelled from our return flight home. Fortunately, we took the return home without any delays!

The windows facing the canal would be better if they were double glazed since one can hear the noise outside and that can ruin the stay

Nous n avons pas eu l appartement sur jardin comme prevu a la reservation!Et un voisin au dessus tres bruyant la nuit...Il n y avait pas d eau chaude le 1er matin.Pas de nettoyage ni changement de serviette de bain malgre la demande faite au concierge.Quartier rouge trop proche donc bruyant.

Hotel Krasnapolsky is simply the best

Hotel Krasnapolsky is the # 1 place in Amsterdam to stay because they are excellent in major categories that we consider important (room/apt size and quality, service, price, location, restaurant). We have never had a bad visit or anything to complain about in a over a dozen visits to the hotel, the most recent being December 2009, where we stayed in the Apartments, which I highly recommend for couples. The staff is well trained and the management is super friendly. In a sad note, we were bumped from our KLM flight and this cost us two days vacation, cutting our reservation from 8 nights to 6 nights. I e-mailed Hotel K and they had all of our arrangements covered when we arrived. In fact, we have a favorite or preferred apartment overlooking the canal and they had it waiting for us when we arrived, and even let us check in early ... now that's outstanding service!

The one down side to staying at Hotel K is parking, if you happen to have an automobile. But, this applies to ALL HOTELS in central A-dam where the use of a car is all but impossible. Even at the Schipol Airport Hilton Hotel, parking costs are very high, so there is no relief if you're driving a vehicle. At $40EU+ / day, be sure to take the vehicle out of your "vacation equation" when visiting Amsterdam, and you'll have less headaches.

Great location but apartment small and difficult to like.

Desk is in the wrong room. Should be in the living area. Working from the apartment I found I spent all my time in the bedroom, sleeping or working. The lounge/dining/kitchen area I used as a big entrance hall only. And the apartment is a little cramped for space. Stairs too steep for the frail - no lift. Internet expensive. Difficult to like the apartment.

The downtown Location close to central station,the friendliness of staff, the level of comfort and the clean rooms make this the ideal Amsterdam hotel. The apartments for stays longer than a week give great value for the price.
