The design hotel is established in two adjacent canalhouses from the 17th and 18th century. It offers two unique rooms and two very luxurious suites. The Miauw Store on the ground floor is used as a concept-store, gallery and exhibition room. In summertime the focus of the shop shifts to food and drink, such as fresh fruit juices, good coffee, cocktails, snacks and sandwiches.
The spacious, comfortable rooms and suites have been decorated in a luxurious apartment-style. The suites combine a separate luxurious bedroom, bathroom, living room and an open-plan kitchen. There is a Loewe widescreen television, DVD/CD player and wireless highspeed internet. The stylish furniture is combined with vintage details. In the bathroom you will find a variety of bath, shower and natural skin products.
Surroundings
Miauw Suites is a beautiful design hotel in the historic heart of Amsterdam. In the surrounding area you will find the Anne Frank House, the royal palace and the Red Light District. You are recommended to go on a canal cruise trip to explore Amsterdam, and admire its traditional canalhouses, bridges and renovated warehouses. Visit the fleamarket at the Waterlooplein square or the flowermarket, which is open 7 days a week. In the Amsterdam district Jordaan you can find cosy cafés, art galleries and boutiques.
Food and Drink
Throughout the year there is a small café corner where you can get a good cup of coffee and fresh croissants. In the nearby 9 straatjes there are many restaurants. The suites also have a fully-equipped kitchen with modern Smeg appliances.
