Hotel Pilar is located in the middle of Antwerp's trendy area 't Zuid, known for its many museums, bars, restaurants and cafés. The hotel itself has a Foodbar, Shop and Pilar Room. The "Museum" tram stop is just 200 metres away, making the hotel easy to reach by public transport. It's also easy to reach the hotel by car and you'll find several car parks within walking distance of the hotel.
Stroll along the banks of the river Scheldt, visit a museum, spend the day shopping, or enjoy a night out. You certainly won't get bored in Antwerp. Hotel Pilar's spacious rooms come with comfortable king-size box-spring beds, air conditioning, WiFi, a flatscreen television and a Nespresso machine.
Surroundings
Hotel Pilar is only 200 metres from the Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Antwerp. This museum is housed in an impressive neoclassical building where paintings by Rubens, Jordaens and Van Dyck are on display, as well works by Dutch masters. The Museum of Contemporary Art is a 10-minute walk from the hotel, and the Fotomuseum and several art galleries are also within walking distance. The district 't Zuid boasts a vibrant nightlife in addition to plenty of fashion boutiques and designer furniture shops.
Food and Drink
Breakfast is served in the Pilar Foodbar. You can order your favourite breakfast between 07:00 and 12:00 on weekdays, and between 09:00 and 12:00 at weekends. You can also visit the Foodbar for lunch and dinner from 12:00 onwards. Please note that the Foodbar is closed on Monday and Tuesday, but breakfast is still available here on these days. And you can ask reception for tips about nice restaurants where you can enjoy lunch or dinner on these days.
