You can explore the city in various ways, for instance by making a beautiful round boat trip or by renting a bicycle in the area and explore Antwerp via different routes. Antwerp Zoo is a real must as well. This is one of the oldest zoos in Europe and more than 4,000 animals live here.

Travelling alone april 2016
It s an OK hotel, the double rooms are large and the bed comfy (although the pillows could be better). The breakfast is good and varied, although maybe a bit expensive.
In front of the hotel at the moment (early April 2016) there are construction workers that everyday, except the weekend, start using the pneumatic drill at 7.30 or so. In general, the room is not very quiet, the windows do not attenuate much the external noise.

It was very nice room, and it was more than we expected.
The room is big enough, on bed we had 4 pillows for 2 persons. Also there were teapot and tea, coffee and sugar, water in refrigerator. In bathroom we had shampoo, gel, shower cap. Towels were clean and good. Also we asked on reception toothbrusher and 2 bags of tea and received. We saw 2 girls on reception and both were nice and friendly. Wifi worked very good. It was a lot of mirrors in the room.
It was a little bit noisy outside, but we were tired and didn't care a lot about it.
