Good hotel, nice surroundings

Close to Hoge Veluwe and Posbank, nice hotel, easy to reach. Friendly stuff and nice room. Sauna and steam bath facilities are small but good, make sure to turn on the sauna 20 min in advance to heat it up.

No real negative points. Fitness room is small (three cardio machines), but going outside is much better anyway.

An excellent stay at Hotel Arnhem

Location, close to good cycling, quiet comfortable rooms and excellent restaurant. Very well priced.

Comfortable hotel in beautiful location

I liked the modern design and quality of rooms. Location just perfect for stop over before boarding Ijmuinden Newcastle ferry. Had a chance for couple of hours riding a bicycle in nearby National Park. Spacious car park.

had a no-smoking room as requested but the neighbours were smoking all day on the balcony so smoke got into the room as soon as we openend the balcony door. smoking should not be allowed anywhere in a no-smoking area. we spent time in various 4-star hotels the last 3 weeks and this one was at the bottom line.

Worth noting before booking

The service was very good and quality of food in the restuarant above average

1. No tables on room terrrace to put coffee cups/drinks etc. 2. Did not know until after checked-in that the "Double-Room" actually was two single beds pushed together.... 3. No peanuts/chips etc. for sale (or free) in the bar.

Extra pay for out-dated "communication service".

TV-service not for free. TV, old classic movies, adult movies and out-dated and hard to access e-mail service comes in one package for 17,50 euro. This "service" comes on your bill as "communication service".

Clean and Pleasant room suitable for business and weekend trips

Spacious room, well maintained and modern designed rooms, friendly staff. Clean including balcony ashtrays. Good service levels. Easy acces to motorway, woods, Arnhem and surroundings. Free parking. (no experience with public transport connections) Free Internet up to 120minutes provided by KPN Hotspots. Good price/quality.

Pleasant stay at a nice hotel

The reception staff were very helpful when I had a problem and were always very friendly. The hotel was well located. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was top class with a big walk in shower. Breakfast was plentiful and the dining room was pleasant. There was secure covered storage for our bicycles.

The room was always cleaned well but sometimes quite late in the day.

Very friendly staff, very clean room and bathroom, very spacious room (Comfort Deluxe). Free internet access is nice. Lovely setting near the woods. The bartender was very welcoming; and the restaurant waitress was very efficient. Food was pretty good.

The lighting is very dim (for older eyes!); the patio door did not lock and we did not feel very secure; the smoke alarm had been covered with a shower cap by a previous occupant and we (nor the cleaner) did not notice this dangerous occurrence.

A first class room, very comfortable. The staff were really helpful. I look forward to a futre stay at this hotel.

Although the room was splendid, the bathroom lighting was too subtle. With no option for adjusting the light. I really struggled with the application of make-up and cosmetics.
