It all depends on the question: Streen or backyard-turned?

Nice staff helped with luggage - and we were received very well when we told them about our noise problem the first night. Fine place for exploring the city.

We stayed two nights in two different rooms. Room nr. 10 was extremely noisy during most of the night, (it was summer, so the windows had to be open) earplugs shouldl have been provided free! But luckily we got transferred to room nr. 24 towards the yard. That was wonderfull and quiet.

“My tip: Prins Hendrik plein is a very nice and local area where people "live".”

    Tourists paradise

Great location close to all major tourist attractions. Room was large and comfortable with fantastic vista of the Plein in front of the Hotel (room no 31) The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.+ The breakfast room was great, although onle scrambled or boiled eggs every day for 11 days was a bit much. A bit of variety would have been welcome.

Had to ask for a Kettle, then visit local shop to buy some coffee. No fridge in room to keep milk / drinks cool, no radio in room

“My tip: Fantastic cafes and restaurant nearby at great prices.”

Lovely clean big room with a very nice clean bathroom. It was great being so close to the festival that was going on.

We hired a kettle but it came with no cups or complementary instant coffee/tea as is normal in other hotels.

A lovely hotel I would definitely go back to.

Very friendly and helpful service. My room had a terrace at the back which is nice if the weather is good. The location is not right in the middle of the town but it is in a pleasant quiet square with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby.

An excellent hotel for those working in the Peace Palace ...

Excellent location within walking distance of the Peace Palace, close to a tram stop, pleasant "old-world" building lovingly brought up to date, courteous and helpful staff ...

Some noise from passing trams - but there does seem to be double glazing in street-side rooms.

Small, reasonably priced hotel at central location

Nice, small-sized hotel. Central location. Friendly staff.

No double bed, and there was a big gap between the two matrasses. Breakfast (even during the weekend) only until 10 AM.

A decent place to stay at a good price.

Great staff, great continential breakfast, decent room It's close to the Brave Hendrick - a great place to catch dinner and a beverage.

Beds could be a little more comfortable and it's a bit noisey if you're not used to regular city traffic.

small is beatiful with a little improvement....

the staff are extremely hospitable and courteous. access to the main tram line and easy proximity to down town makes it ideal

for the price, the single room is way toooo small- there's barely room to move- let alone hang clothes in closet. the hotel could use an elevator for the top floors

    Good service, average hotel.

Service was really good, location also. You could walk easily to the centre and a nearby big supermarket. The area Zeeheldenkwartier is worth seeing too.

The rooms are quite old, TV wasn't working properly and we had some trouble connecting to internet. Breakfast could've been included to the price, it was expensive even though good.

Great hotel which I will use again.

Wecoming staff and good service. Good breakfast.

The hotel is three old houses. Anyone with mobility problems should seek accommodation at ground level as they would not make it to the third floor. This may be clear on the hotel website. If not, it would be worth adding. For me it was not a problem
