Hotel
Hotel Op Diek Texel offers hospitality and comfortable facilities in an informal environment. All rooms come with a seating area and a contemporary ensuite bathroom with a shower or bath, among other things.
You can relax in the sauna after an active day on the beach or a cycling trip. The hotel also has a south-facing terrace with a view of the garden, and the local Texel breed of sheep graze in the surrounding pastures.
The ferry to Texel departs every 30 minutes from Den Helder ferry terminal. The crossing takes approximately half an hour. It is not necessary to make reservations beforehand; additional boats are brought in during busy periods. The ferry also carries cars.
Surroundings
Den Hoorn is one of the oldest and most picturesque villages of Texel. It is situated on the southern side of the island and offers nice restaurants and cafés, a miniature golf course and a children's farm. Texel also has several nature reserves, some of which can be reached on foot from the hotel. The beach lies at about 2 kilometres from Hotel Op Diek.
