Fletcher Wellness-Hotel De Hunzebergen Exloo is situated on a hill ridge, and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the hotel's luxury and opulence. The hotel lies in the middle of Drenthe's green countryside and offers many walking and cycling paths. Be pampered in the beauty salon, where it's possible to book a complete beauty treatment. (Please note: reservation for the beauty salon is required). Then relax in the indoor swimming pool with a whirlpool, sauna, Turkish bath and solarium. There are also plenty of facilities for sporty guests, such as a tennis court, a bowling alley and a miniature golf course. The hotel furthermore offers four function rooms that are suitable for meetings and parties.
The hotel rooms are furnished in a contemporary and stylish manner. Suites varying in size and style are also available. All rooms come with air conditioning and a safe. Most rooms also come with a balcony with a view; either of the driveway or the park at the rear of the hotel. The Family Suite was refurbished in 2016, and is suitable for two adults and two children. The room consists of two areas: a sleeping area with a double bed, and a sleeping area with two single beds and a sitting area. Both areas feature a flatscreen television, and the bathroom has a bath as well as a shower.
Please note: On Sunday the hotel offers a Lazy Sunday deal, on request. This means that you can make use of the room and the facilities until 17:00; at a surcharge of €15 per room.

Fletcher Wellness-Hotel De Hunzebergen Exloo is located in the beautiful landscape of Drenthe. The surroundings are perfect for a good walk or bike ride, or you can spend a day on horseback! As you explore this province's beautiful countryside, you'll undoubtedly stumble upon the prehistoric dolmen. And you can learn all about traditional trades from a hundred years ago in the museum village of Orvelte. The Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen is also well worth a visit.
Food and Drink
You can enjoy an extensive breakfast buffet, served in the Rembrandt Room on weekdays from 07:00 until 10:00, and at weekends from 07:30 until 10:30. The restaurant is open from 12:00 until 21:30, and the chef prepares the most delicious of dishes. Furthermore, room service is available should guests prefer to dine in their room.

Children/extra beds: Children under 4 years old can stay in the parents' room free of charge. A cot is available at a surcharge of €10 per night. Children aged 4 - 11 years old receive a 50% discount, providing they stay in their parents' room.

Staff not so friendly or as accommodating as I have come to expect from Fletcher Hotels..

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Nothing at all was too much trouble for the staff. We asked for a couple of things, i.e. an extra blanket and as it wasn't immediately available, the front desk kept us informed of when it would arrive. They also opened a bowling lane early for us as we needed to leave at an earlier time. The spa was excellent, as was the breakfast. Something to keep the whole family occupied constantly. Most highly recommended.
The only minus point was that the room temperature was very cool. Given that the weather had deteriorated considerably in the few days before we arrived, it was too cool at night to feel comfortable and we couldn't get the radiators to operate. Extra blankets sufficed though more heat would have been pleasing.

Telephone should be charged lower, especially when the custmer using 0900 line which only cost one euro-cent per minute.

Great location, excellent rooms, great facilities and the staff were friendly (to the extreme),
The resteraunt was first class with the prices being reasonable and excellent service. Would reccommend to all as an excellent place to stay.

For a 5 star hotel we thought the public would keep in mind that one expects the rules of dressing; so no caps etc. in restaurant and breakfastroom!
No possibilitiy to reach the frontdoor by car just to have the opportunity to get out of the car for people being not too good on one\'s legs.

Ligging is erg mooi, geen last van verkeer.
Voldoende voorzieningen zoals sauna en zwembad en fietsen.
Na klacht over een bromtoon in de kamer een andere kamer gekregen.
De wachttijd tussen de gangen van het diner erg lang.
De eetzaal was onbehaaglijk warm.
De schoonmaak van de badkamer liet te wensen over.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was peaceful, in a beautiful setting, with a fabulous restaurant menu.
The airconditioning was really irritating and noisy, but you can switch it off if you remove the cover.
The foyer was very smokey. Not very nice to walk through.

Beautiful but remote. A lot of space and peace.
The spa was not quite alright. We could use it only after 17:00, the water (pool, whirl pools, showers) was pretty chilly, the steam room was not operating (had to ask to switch it on at the reception).
The breakfast was a 3 star hotel breakfast served with warm coffee!
The heating in the room was a big problem.

Fantastische ligging, goed personeel, ontbijt prima wanneer er niet teveel gasten zijn.
Badkamer mist een aparte douche gelegenheid en heeft slechts 1 wastafel. De airconditioning is een ramp. Deze maakt zeer veel geluid( om de minuut een soort wekker) ook als deze uit staat.
Voor een, nog te worden, 5 sterren hotel mogen dit soort zaken niet voor komen. Badkamers moeten beter!

heerlijk ruim en zonnig balkon, comfortabele bedden en ruime badkamer, erg vriendelijk personeel bij check -in, mooie omgeving.
Geen faciliteiten om koffie en/of thee te maken in de kamer, prijzen van drankjes in de minibar veel te hoog,kwaliteit en prijs verhouding van het ontbijt niet erg goed.

Prima uitvalsbasis voor fietstochten. Zeer luxe uitstraling. Rookvrij restaurant. Heerlijk ontbijtbuffet.
Stoelen in restaurant zitten lekker, maar zijn niet geschikt om mee aan tafel te zitten.
