Hotel
Hotel Reylof was built in Louis XIV-style. The ornate style is reflected in the spiral staircase and the beautiful Empire style mantelpieces. The hotel has a business corner with a computer. For electric cars, the hotel offers a charging point which is situated in the underground parking area.
The rooms are decorated in a rich French style, classic but with a modern twist. They embody a luxurious atmosphere created by immensely high ceilings and beautiful spacious bathrooms with a double rain shower.

The Sandton Grand Hotel Reylof lies in the centre of Ghent. This city is definitely one for art lovers, who can choose between the Museum of Fine Arts or the SMAK, (the Municipal Museum of Contemporary Art). Ghent also has many monuments, such as the Saint Bavo Cathedral and the Belfry. Every Sunday, you can take a stroll around Ghent's markets. Flowers, plants, food and vegetables are only a few of the many things on offer along the lengthy 3 km market route.

Free WiFi I can never understand hotels charging for this (£13 at the Hilton in Antwerp) why not charge for hot water or TV?

What a fab hotel - perfect position and easy to get to from the railway station. The hotel staff were extremely helpful and polite. We used the restaurant for a breakfast and a dinner and found the food to be excellent. The wellness centre was very nice - although not very big, it was nice and relaxing. We all really enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to anyone thinking about it! if we were going to Ghent again - we would definitely book this hotel.
We stayed in a cosy room which was very nice - however, the toilet part of the bathroom was very very small - when you sat on the toilet, you were vertually pressed up against the wall in front of you (like Garfield!!). Also there was no drawer space in the room - only wardrobe hanging space - which made it difficult to store our underwear!! These points however would not put us off staying at this hotel again.

The guides are very knowledgable and will be able to tell you about the little known secrets of beautiful Ghent.”
