Large, clean room. Location was perfect.
As a former employee of Accor, I worked at Sofitel NYC, I am extremely disappointed in the service, especially the front desk! Though I did expect Sofitel level service, I did expect more. First of all I honestly chose this hotel on my one day in Ghent because it was going to be a beautiful warm day, so your hotel has one if the only pools in the city. Nowhere listed on your site did it say that the would be closed, and it was. Second, the front desk agents were quite rude, non helpful and made me feel as I was bothering them any time I asked a question, which by the way were very general questions. I would understand if you had a concierge, but obviously you don't, which is fine, but that makes them it. I'm sorry for the tone in this message, but its still bothering me two weeks later. I rarely ever have done this before but I had to let someone in management know. Please pass on to your staff to never take any guest for granted, I learned that day one in this business, now 15 years later. Thank you for your time.
