Disappointed about how room was prepared, shower tray very small and needed replacing.Staff does not know a bed has a bottom sheet. Although the girls are swept of their feet, theystill found time for us and being friendly.

Comfort maar 10 minuten vanaf het centrum van Amersfoort

Het hotel ligt vlak bij de A28 en 10 minuten vanaf het centrum van Amersfoort. De kamer was redelijk modern ingericht. De superiour room met nummer 531 heeft veel ruimte en een praktisch ingerichte badkamer. De bedden liggen heerlijk. De televisie is groot. Het ontbijt is uitgebreid en goed. De kamers hebben aaneengesloten balkons, maar wij keken dan wel bij andere kamers binnen.

Het hotel wordt verbouwd en daardoor zijn de kamers via de trap wat lastig te bereiken. De kamer zelf heeft weinig stopkontakten. Dit is een gemis met name naast de bedden. Hier bevindt zich slechts aan één zijde één stopcontact. De prijs kwaliteitverhouding van het diner is slecht. We werden aan een niet ingedekt tafel en kregen bestek van de 4-persoons tafel naast ons waar 2 mensen zaten te eten. Het eten is niet fantastisch en de bediening erg gehaast. Bediening was moeilijk te bereiken voor drinken. Het leek wel fabriekswerk. Het hotel mist in zijn geheel wat sfeer.

“My tip: Als je wilt dineren, ga lekker in Amersfoort eten. Een topper voor zowel de lunch als diner is WestSingel. De iets hoger prijzen zijn zeker de moeite waard. Leuk personeel.”

Breakfast was great. Personal very friendly.

Our room was not yet renovated and it was dusty at some places.

Size of the room, luxury shower, fluffy towels, lots of channels on TV, balcony, the amazing breakfast, comfy mattresses, price of BB deal through Hotels.nl 30 pppn, customer service of girls at reception (printed boarding passes for us), friendly waitresses in dining room, easy location etc. just about EVERYTHING

Not advised of building works at back of hotel, which had reduced the car parking capacity quite substantially.

Hotel Van Dr Valk, Leusden

Comfortable well appointed rooms. Very good resteraunt. Also, generouse selection of breakfast offerings. Friendly efficient staff. Scenic outlook and close to the ancient town of Amersfort. Really enjoyed our stay.

Both nights of our stay we were lucky enough to get the last place in the car park. There is also quite a long slope up to the reception. Maybe call ahead if you have special requirements for mobility. On price, note that you will have to add the cost of local taxes and breakfast - neither of which is included in the headline price.

Loved the large, comfortable suite, exceptional buffet breakfast with the ultimate in fresh choices. The room attendants were quick, professional and always had a pleasant attitude. The restaurant and desk personnel were knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Will definitely stay here again

Perhaps more wait staff during dinner may be helpful as I had to attract attention of staff to provide my entourage and myself service. Provide room key access to doors inside the parking garage. Had a hard time reaching the night desk person to let me in when I packed my rental car at 3 15 am and noticed too late that the garage gates were locked as well as the entry doors to the hotel. Having room key to open entry doors would eliminate a locked in situation as mine.

Few small things could improve, not enough hooks in bathroom, one of our 3 rooms only received hand towels and no bath towels during cleaning

Good size room and nice balcony. Also a king bed was really nice. Good breakfast, but with large travel crowds, choices quickly diminish. Liked location with wooded area and still close. Loved the Terras Stayed at 5 different hotels(2 van Der Valks) on this trip and, this hotel was one of the best. Would definitely stay st this location again.

Relaxe in Leusden

Family visit in Holland. Very central location, close to Amersfoort wich is a beautiful city. Highways close by for traveling to Amsterdam. Nice rooms, friendly staf,dog friendly in other words a very nice hotel.

The whole stay was positive. Had a fantastic offer and on top were upgrated upon arrival.

Lack of flexibility of price at reception. I booked for the following week and the price went from 59euros to 95 euros. By crossing the foyer and going online I could book a cheaper deal.
