- 4 star hotel expected they would have gym facilities and or sauna. - Service was very bad, we asked for towels, as we only had 2 in the room, it was late around 22 00, we were informed that the men at service was alone and that they could not provide us with that service until the next morning. - Ordering in the lobby downstairs is complicated, you order at the reception and then the waiter comes to you in the lobby. Breakfast choices superb. Rental cycle service we great. Rooms have space to pass each other without getting in each others way. Bed excellent.

Some patrons used fingers when selecting buffet food at breakfast and also openly couched around food service area.

Lovely Decor, comfortable bed, extremely friendly staff and great breakfast

Restaurant and bar closed quite early. Fridge in room was not switched on and I would have liked to have chilled my water. One of the lifts was not working

Above all people are very friendly in general. Restaurant is great with interesting dishes of all sorts. One of the few where you can ask gluten free food. Conference rooms very nice and people very helpful. Rooms, even the standard ones are big.

Terrible location and away from everything. The hotel should consider having a shuttle to the airport both AMS and RTM and the central of the Hague.

Best price comfort between den Haag and Zoetemeer

Roooms are in great condition, big and nice. There is everyday a wide variety for breakfast and it starts from 6 am which is excellent.

“My tip: It was great having a rented car. It takes 6 minutes to get to Zoetemeer, or 15 to the Hague, or 20 to get to Rotterdam downtown. Best places to visit Tulips near Lisse, and wind mills south east Rotterdam.”

Plus is the location and the ability to park in the basement under the hotel.

I cannot think of one other then that I do not like carpet nor brick work in the interior.

A large professional hotel with a small family run feel to it.

As Managing Director of a company in the UK I have travelled to many countries around The World. This coupled with overseas holidays with my wife has meant that I have visited around 60 countries and very many hotels. Without doubt the Van Der Valk Hotel Nootdorp is one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed in. Although a big and professional hotel it manages to maintain a warm and friendly feel, the rooms are big and clean and the food excellent, with plenty of parking and fair rates.

None that my wife and I found generally, other than the small point that TV reception on most channels on the TV in our room was very poor.

“My tip: The rooms are very big and clean. In our room there was a large bath as well as large shower with small hand shower in addition. We stayed for breakfast and evening meal and the variety and quality of food was very good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the car park very large with plenty of spaces. What more could you ask for??”

Excellent hotel

Gentillesse de l'accueil, beauté du design, confort de la chambre, du lit et de la salle de bain.

La douche (excellente) laisse malheureusement déborder beaucoup d'eau et le tapis de bain est vite mouillé. Un deuxième bonnet de douche serait le bienvenu ainsi qu'une lingette pour nettoyer les chaussures.

Geen beschrijving bij airco, was lastig om uit te vogelen hoe die werkt. Geen wc-borstel.

It was ok for us but a bit out of the way,two single beds pushed together instead of a double bed.

Location, Bed, bathroom & shower

The heating in the room was switched off, (room was \'not occupied\'), after complaining I was told that the \'were not allowed\' to give a discount for that issue. This lack of service towards the customer is clearly a big difference with the service provided for example in the USA.
