Hotel Europe in Ostend lies in the centre, at only 100 metres from the beach. A shopping centre, a casino, a park and the beautiful marina are all within walking distance. After a day of shopping, you can relax at Hotel Europe. There is a sauna and a Turkish steam bath. The hotel also has a swimming pool and a gym. And at the end of the day you can can unwind with a drink at the hotel bar.

Surroundings
Ostend has plenty to offer. You are definitely recommended to visit the city park, which boasts many beautiful statues. Across from the town hall lies the old sailing boat, Mercator, which now houses a maritime museum. You can also follow one of the many available walking and cycling routes in and around Ostend. The trendy shopping centre of Ostend is a paradise for shopaholics. On a Thursday, you can go to one of the markets on the Wapenplein, the Groentemarkt and the Mijnplein, where you can buy products ranging from food and flowers to plants, accessories and clothing. If you go cycling in the surrounding area, you are recommended to make a stop in the village of Stene, where you can admire the attractive Saint Anna church. Time seems to have stood still in this village. The central square of Stene is a peaceful retreat. You are also recommended to visit Fort Napoleon, where an audio guide will take you on a journey through the last two centuries.
